23/06/2018

I have filled in a base for the background and still have some work to do on the flamingo. Nearly ended up with paint in my coffee cup and  speckled hands.

This week my theme is our feathered friends. The sparrows in the garden and the magpie declined to be photographed this week. So here are a few others. Sorry but I don't know the names of some of them, but they are beautiful.

Our dove nesting in our tree.  We watched them in their courtship, building the nest and then sitting on the eggs. She managed to hatch one chick who we saw a couple of times. Nesting back here again in the garden. In fact, have never left!

Now a few exotic birds from around different countries. Makes you wish you had taken more time to photograph more of them.
