I also worked on Mary's face a little more and I think it is now a lot better. Amazing what a touch of shadow here and there can make all that difference.
Baby's face and body are slowly coming on as is the lamb. Back to the magnifying glass to get all these details.
Memories.
I have just been chasing a little minute lizard around the bedroom. They must come in under the patio doors, as they are no thicker than a piece of string. Reminded me of when I used to love catching the odd baby chameleon when I was younger. Yes, quite a few years younger. In those days out in our garden in Africa you only had to search around in the hedge and could easily find one.I was always careful to put them back where found afterwards. Sometimes if I had a large one, especially the horned ones, one would hide itself under a dining chair to be found the next day with shrieks from the cook whilst setting up the table for a meal. they were considered evil because of being able to roll their eyes right round, so always watching you. The harmless creature would be quickly removed by me or my mother, and a telling off for causing the panic! I still don't think I have changed with my love for nature.
This one taken in later years.
A much bigger lizard of a kind I only noticed when walking past on the path near the river bank to photograph the one lying on the rock. Yes Sheila, watch where you are walking!
Another creation coming out of the skilled hands of Klaus. A beautiful gourd lamp.
A peaceful picture from our garden to end this week's blog. Take care
Look out for 'What are they going to be!'
Come back next week to see.
