This is what we have been waiting for. A handsome 'King of the Jungle' Although I think the elephant should be one.

And not forgetting his wives dozing nearby in the shade.

Today was the day of lions.

Drove past the lake and spotted a fish eagle.

Then some Marabou Storks amongst some Flamingo's.

 Then on the way back later that afternoon. Mum and the kids.
A great day's viewing.

         

Back at camp an evening of music and dance.

Back to art this week with my friend Jill. Amongst all the chatting and catching up with all the weeks news managed to get a little further with the picture.

My pastels are certainly easier to control than acrylic, but I hopefully I will manage to do this picture.
