I love these early mornings game drives. Everything is clear and crisp, a little dew around, and a freshness in the air. Soon it will get hot and dusty and trying to breath without getting a mouthful of dust is not easy.
Still that's half the fun of being on safari.
The first animals of the morning to greet us, or should I say 'just stare'.
A group of buffalo, beady eyes watching us. And then some donkey's in pyjamas!!
A good size herd of elephant. Busy grazing around and not a care for us coming up on them.
And then back at the camp to see one of the gardeners keeping an eye out on this little one who was being cared for at the camp. Something must have had happened to mum. But nice to see some tender loving care being given.

Sorry no new art this week. We have my sister in law on holiday all the way from Brazil where she works. I did draw out one of the gourds ready for carving whilst down at the shop. It was too hot to do any painting that day down there. Paint would have dried before I got it on the brush!
Art as normal this coming week so should have something to show next week.
In the meantime a painting of my zebra's which I sold.
