Half way through the month, blink and this month will be gone. Just do not seem to have the days to do everything I have been going to get on with.
Was hoping to get out a bit more with my camera this week but the weather has not been kind. Even our lesson this week was inside the house due to rain so we  practising portraits. Saw some beautiful waves crashing onto the beach on the drive back home, but it was chucking it down  so hard, I was  unable to stop to snap away.
Back at the 'That Nice Shop' where I do 2 mornings a week I have been busy carving my gourds. Here is the latest one finished.  This one has had some colour put into it for a change.    

The new one I will be starting is having animals again on it.

Have started preparing my canvas for my new picture. Not a lot to show at the moment. I have put a light wash on and stippled some texture into it ready for doing the rock and bringing out the moss look. All new to me, so it's trial and error!!.
