A beautiful sunny day for our camera lesson this week. We were taking pictures from below the subject, eye level and from above the subject. So we went out into the field where spring flowers are popping up everywhere and looking out for things of interest to photograph.
Now this might look like just dewy blades of grass, but when you get down on your knees and your face stuck into the grass, this is no longer a simple  blade of grass. This is now a priceless piece of grass. I sank into the wet muddy field, no point in lying down into it for the shots, I would never have got up again! But wet muddy knees and damp trousers, boots thick with mud, a new fashion trend I hear you say. Later on we were doing the same thing on the road. Getting down to road level taking shots of the road and distance and shadows. Thankfully no cars that came ran us over!! Must have thought we were quite potty. Came home after a good morning, but looked like I had been out farming.

                                                            Snails sheltering in the leaves.

            Orchids coming out

Slowly building up my rock, this is going to take time. Trying to put the rough texture of stone in.
Once I have a good base I can then start  on the cracks in the rock and bringing out  all the features.

Have a good week
