What weather we are having. I know it is winter out here but rain, hail fog for a couple of days is enough. How did we ever put up with this for days on end in the UK. Now we have had a couple of flurries of snow, and the temperature has really dropped. Time for thermals and fleece jackets!! Sunny Cyprus! Sorry, sun is now out.
Having had a moan about the weather, I was pleased that I sold a picture and also another decorated gourd. That's a really good start to the New Year. I have a few gourds kindly collected for me from friends hanging up in the shed to dry. Will have to start thinking of some new designs for when they are ready to carve.

    The days seem to be passing me by and I don't seem to have had the time to pick up a paint brush.
Finally got down to it , but I am not sure the board for acrylic I am working on will be any good. I might have to restart the picture on a proper canvas. I am trying to put texture into the rock, thought it might look better.
Sorry the board is no good , too flimsy and buckling,so will have to start again on proper canvas. Will have something to show hopefully next week. In the meantime a picture of a friend we see hopping around in the garden this time of the year.
