Continuing on from last week with my favourite animals, the elephants. Whilst we were staying in the camp which was the base for my father to go out each day to pay the staff working for him. It was not unusual to have a visiting elephant come into the camp and leave a calling card of a huge pile of steaming dung on your doorstep. Ok if the moon was out or you had light!!
This little fellow in my picture came rushing out when we had stopped the car whilst out travelling in the game park. We had stopped to watch a group grazing on some bushes. He came right up to our car, his little trunk just about came into the open window. Then Mum appeared and it was time to move.
We quietly retreated, not all elephants want to shake hands with you!

This week is the start of Charlie our dog. The paper I am using is coloured, not as much as it appears here. I want to see if I can leave it without a background or if it will need one. At the moment I am just starting to feel my way.
Come back next week to see how the stormy fishing scene is coming on.
