Starting to feel my way along on this picture. I need to fill in some sky before doing the elephant.
I have not got that far into it yet, our daughter was out for a short holiday, so picture on hold for a few days.

When we used to come back from Africa at the end of my father's wok tour, we used to sail on one of the 'Union Castle  Lines'. These were passenger and cargo ships, calling in at ports along the way.
Not one of these big modern storey high luxury liners, but friendly comfortable and lovely to travel on.
I managed to come across this picture of the 'Kenya Castle' which we travelled on.

We would have one kind of entertainment a night, maybe a film, dance, contest of some kind, but always something to look forward to.
Afternoons after lunch was ice-cream for the kids, I remember we usually had the three flavoured  Neapolitan kind.  Whenever I see it , I think of our trips.

We would have a day of fun and games crossing the Equator line, with chosen passenger being held prisoner and led before King Neptune to be punished.  We would loosely be tied and led across the decks to be sentenced.
This was being plastered in shaving foam and being ducked into the pool in the ducking chair.

Also water games in the pool such as a balloon fight on the greasy pole.

Will sort out a few country visits for next week.
Take care and have a good week.
