I have started the background. The little bird on the branch is starting to chirp! Just a matter of continuing along and filling in until I need to start on my old lady.
This is going to be a fun picture to do.
Flamingo finally finished. Looking a little darker here than on the painting, something has happened!
Back to wildlife.
Some smaller animals this week and some graceful ones as well. I look at my photo's and memories flood back at me from our life out in Africa, and the other countries we have been able to visit. I know that from some of these I do not have that many photo's of their country animals. Not sure of all the species of Antelope either.
Giraffe and Zebra
Mouflon from Cyprus. Very shy and we were lucky enough to see some in the wild.
Warthog from Masai Mara
Our little Dik-Dik 'Bambi' which we hand reared after it's mother died in a bush fire.
Where's mum!
Orphaned zebra at the camp.
Even we have to sit down sometimes.
Hyena
Wild dog but often called African painted dog.
Warthog
This giraffe poked it's nose into the car window. Thought we were going to get licked.
Friend's together
Eland
Impala
Hope you all have a good week and see you next time.
