But slowly the picture is taking shape. I have altered the hands, but may come back to them again later. Now gradually folding in the robes and continuing down.
MY LIFE BY A GOURD.
We have done it, news flash. Us three gourds have been growing up in the tree hanging over the path where our owners walk everyday. They had not seen or noticed us until two days ago. Look how big we are, but have managed to grow undetected up in the tree. Luckily our vine is still holding us up, could have had a couple of sore heads here if we fell down!!
A few more of the rest of our family growing along a fence. Yes, we are everywhere and a bumper crop of gourds, nearly enough to last a lifetime. That will keep the old man busy for some time!
Funny giraffe's taken down to 'That Nice Shop' in Polis where I help out. 3 sold in the first couple of days, wow, really chuffed. Only one left sitting all by himself now on the table.
He has been joined by three other little friends.
Some memories from past Africa.
Talking of giraffe's reminded me of one of the trips out into the game park we came across this little fellow standing all by himself.
I was rather worried he would be attacked by lion or hyena, but we could not do anything about it.
Whilst driving around we stopped to watch another pair, then one wandered over to our car and practically stuck it's head into the car window.
Then on our way back later on who should we come across but our baby united with it's parents. The game guard remarked that they had probably been close by, but hidden by trees from us.
We could now sleep easy that night.
Loved that giraffe so much I painted the one who nearly licked me.
Wishing you all a good week, and see you next time.
