29/7/2017

I have decided that I am defeated with my picture. I do not usually give in so quickly. Acrylic and I do not seem to get on. The more I try to correct and put the detail into the picture, the more of a mess it looks. The woodwork is wrong and the glass in the doors does not look like dusty glass.I also tried putting in the flowerpot, but it still looks wrong. So I have binned it to the cupboard where maybe at a later date I can throw some paint at it and have an abstract modern picture.!
I am an artist who loves pastel, so 'keep to what you know best'. as the saying goes.

This picture is just to show pastel works.

Saw this picture, not quite an animal picture, but just liked it. My husband Klaus thought I was going all religious, but there is something very delicate and serene about this picture.  It will be a challenge as well. I am used to doing hide or fur most of the time. Well yes, I have one little animal.

MY LIFE BY A GOURD.

I and my family still continue to grow, although I think I have reached my limit. I will just continue taking moisture out of the vine until it all dries away and when that happens I will get picked.
You will not hear from me for awhile now until  there is some change in our life, although I may still put an odd picture or two of the other gourds on.
The rest of the family are at present still growing, but not as big as I am
I and I am sure my other family all look forward to one day becoming one of these in someones house.

Klaus our master at work, shut up outside in the hot shed! But what creations come out of there!
