Walked up to the church square with Jill, all ready with pen and paper and camera to start our gourd decorating class.
We found a bench to wait on, pity that it only had 3 legs so neither of us could shift our bums around on the seat. It wobbled and threatened to collapse. Another friend  Kelly joined us and we waited, and waited. No sign of anyone except of couple of old boys from the coffee shop, who came to see what was going on. Well, we were having a good old natter and laugh while waiting. Finally  Kelly who has contacts, found a phone number to try, only to be told they had put the course off until next week. Pity we had not been told sooner.
The three of us then trooped down to our excellent hotel for coffee and fresh cakes, yummy, well why not, it had been a tiring morning!!

Have had great fun painting this picture. Filled in some waves and tried to give depth to get that 3D effect.
Finished of the boat and put the fishing lines in, not easy on choppy seas!
