Down to Polis to 'That Nice Shop' this week to check on my pictures and see what happened and if any interest shown. Nothing sold but they will be staying for the month and I will help out in the shop once a week. If not too hot, I can sit outside the shop and do some art whilst waiting for tourists to visit. Luckily there is a little coffee shop right next door for iced drinks if needed.
A couple of shots of the Cyprus Caper flower. The young shoots, thorns and all, get pickled for you to eat, a big favourite with the local restaurants out here, and the berries are used in cooking. Not one of my favourite delicacies!!. But very pretty when in bloom.

Fur, fur and more fur, seems never ending, but we will get there. I have to lay the foundation first before I can fill in with the fur looking like it should.
Now I will have to think of what picture to start when I am down at the craft shop. Might try acrylic as that might survive the heat that we are having at the moment better than pastels.
Do catch up with me next week.
