The weather here has suddenly got very hot, was 34c in the shade yesterday and I feel like the plants in the garden. We are all wilting!
Instead of ironing and usual stuff around the house maybe I should be        

                                                                 keeping cool and having fun!

or lazying around on some exotic beach

 

Or tramping around in my element trying to snap one of the animals I love
                                                           

           Instead no hassle of travelling, no pricey hotel, just a slow walk out of the house, and then! a dip in the spa and a cool drink or two under the trees.

Having remarked on the heat,  I am thankful my pencils have not melted. It does make it hot and sticky to do art and I have to make sure I always have a tissue handy.

Filling in around the face and continuing down the body of the monkey. Some of the whiter areas I will go in with soft pastel chalk nearer the end. No point in doing it now as it will fade.

Will have some pictures hanging up in the 'That Nice Shop' , in Polis  centre next week. Might just be lucky and sell one.
