Hard to imagine we have now been in our new home nearly a month, and time fly's by.
Enjoying having a coffee on the patio and watching the birds around, swallows dipping in and out of the pool, and also Ratty the carob rat playing hide and seek with the lizards along the fence. Some would say 'what a rat around' but as we have orchards and fields all around, it is too be expected. Luckily we have only seen the one, and never near the house.
I managed a little art this week. I had drawn one out and started it, but something was wrong with the paper and it would not hold the pastel properly. So another one drawn out and started.
Here is a picture I once did of another 'Ratty' we once saw elsewhere. They can be rather cute!
An old flower pot made into a bird and lizard bath, with a few old vine branches around it.
Only took them about an hour to start using it, and now love watching the birds argue who is going in first. Feel I could spend all day just watching our wildlife around. Well, we are in lock-down.
Sunbathing
A must for the garden.
Take care and stay safe and catch up with me next week.
