A little more work done this week, and the picture is slowly coming to life.  My friend was back from her holiday, so some catching up  with all the gossip while we worked on our pictures.


                                                                           

Down at the shop where I do a couple of shifts a week, I look after some orchids. A couple were given to the shop a few years ago and a couple of the others belong to other people who can't get them to grow or stay alive. So I have become the keeper of the orchids!

Here are a few pictures of my own at home. They can be finicky plants to keep, don't like it too hot, too cold, too wet or dry. And don't forget to talk to them.

I have also managed to grow one from just a leaf which was just for fun, now a very healthy plant, with buds coming.

I am now growing and encouraging a small cutting to grow for a friend.
