I am afraid there is not a great deal to see of my new picture. I have slightly outlined round the dogs head ready for when the background goes in. When doing fur on top of the head I find outlining like this gives you the chance to put wispy fur there,easier than trying to add it on after you have filled in the background and the colour will not go on properly.It can also sometimes look smudgy.
The forehead has the base colour and I am now working down the nose, and part of the ears and surrounding area around the eyes.The picture will start to come to life once I start on the eyes.

                                                      

As you can see our dog 'Charlie' has much the same kind of fur although here he had been clipped short.

                                                        

The same for our other dog' Benji'.

                                 

                                                 That's about it for this week, no news on the gourds, still waiting for them to dry out ready for prepairing them to be carved.
