I have lightened up the owls wings a little after helpful advice from a friend. Never having seen a Barn Owl I only have my reference picture which is not brilliant, but I liked this picture. Still more to be done but will wait until I have the background mostly in.
Have made a little start on the background,just a bit of base colour, next it will be the soft pastels blended in properly.
Meet 'Buster' our gourd dog. Still in the preliminary stages. Waiting to be painted with more detail and brought alive. Hopefully!
