The sun is already up and what a beautiful day it is going to be. Our small holdall is packed and we have had breakfast at the hotel, and now waiting to start our safari. Looking back on all that, what a thrill that was. An adventure into the unknown, you could never say what might happen!
Driving along, windows open to let some air in, dust as well, and the scent that comes with it all. Animal scents mixed with earth and then from any vegetation around, nothing like it. Not forgetting the  looking forward to a new adventure.

Wow, the first animal
Our first sighting of a giraffe, then the funny looking baobab tree, which looks like it is upside down.

The vastness of the park, you are honoured to see an animal, it is up to them to show themselves.
Back to camp and a shower and a meal for tired bumped around bodies. No tarmac out here, only ruts , and big ones too! Hopefully will sit around a campfire with a nice glass of cold wine and listen to the sounds of the evening.

The robin picture is slowly taking shape now. Colours here are are a little brighter than the real ones in the picture.

No blog next week as I am away, but please catch up with me the following week.
A happy Easter to you all
