I have been out and about in the garden and came across some beautiful pieces of wood.

There is such a variation of colour and texture I just had to snap them. The twists and turns and flaking away in places, a little rot here and there, but beautiful all the same.
                                 

                                                                                         

 After some wonderful sunshine I was going out to photograph the wild flowers and weeds around, but yes, the heavens opened today and it chucked it down with rain. will keep that idea for next week now.

Been working on my robin picture which is slowly taking shape. Thought we could catch a little meal in the meantime!

Will do some more work on my sea scene and show it next week. Keep well.
