Thank heavens the snow was only with us for a day and a half. It caused enough trouble. First no water in the house, frozen pipes , then coming back home from shopping we noticed that one of our solar panels was spurting out water. Poor hubby had to go up and repair it in the cold, with water soaking him until we could get someone to replace the panel. Thankfully he made a good job of it and it will last until we get the replaced.
Around the village children had been having fun building snowmen, puts our little one to shame

Now we seem to have rain and sun, but I should not complain. Saw my first bee and a ladybird so spring is on the way.

                                                                           

Hopefully winter is finished.

I have now completed my 'Rock Face' and am rather pleased with it. I know this picture does not do it justice. 

                                               

         

                   

I have really enjoyed doing this one, and also enjoy using acrylics for a change. Will certainly be painting more in acrylic. 

Will show the start of a new pastel one next week.
