The sun shone brightly for us on our camera lesson this week. We went off to look at scenery to practise distance and other aspects. A friend of our teacher saw us out taking snaps and offered to show us some good shots around amongst the rocks.
I never knew before how fascinating a rock could be, and how we would have to climb like mountain goats to reach some of them. Puffing and panting I finally made it. Thankfully one of our group offered to walk behind me in case I slipped.
I was met by the rock man, his face peering out at me.

Here was a chair, I thought rather straight backed and a little hard to sit on.

His domain guarded by the hooded head!

Beware those who venture here I felt as I stumbled over something, someone, who had walked the same path as me.

But mind where you step.

Rock man had the view, he could sit there all day and admire his  domain.
Orchids coming up

Thistles to ward off the unwanted.

I have now  nearly completed Benji. Just have to go a little further down and then fill in the background.

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
