It's been a busy week and still feel as if I am rushing around in this heat.

Back to our trip down memory lane. We meet up with Marinna, Phillipos's lovely wife, and another elderly lady  making some kind of biscuit. It is rolled out and twisted into shape then baked with carob juice. I can't remember what it was called.

Grinding away at the carob pods to make the syrup. Carob is used in chocolate and I think also cough mixture, and other products. It is served like maple syrup with certain sweets, and also poured over Anari,  a kind of mild cheese served as a sweet.

An old water mill.

                            ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Starting to fill in the elephant starting with the ear. as I go down and along I will also fill in the background. I have found this easier than trying to do some of it afterwards

I know this is not art but had to show one of our ferrel cats latest kitten. She had two.
