We have had such a mild winter so far, and hopefully it will stay this way. Almond blossom is bursting out everywhere making a beautiful pink , and rosy red haze around.
Wild flowers are blossoming and it's lovely to wake up to the happy chirping of birds. Saw my first ladybird and the bumble bees are starting to hover over flowers.
The scenery is beautifully crisp and clear, no sandy haze around just yet.
One of our villager told us 'The sandy haze we get is from all the safari jeeps in Egypt churning up all the sand, as they race around in the desert!
Just had a large rumble of thunder and a couple of flashes of lightning, looks like we could be in for some rain, means I don't have to go out and water the flower pots today.

Have been looking and trying some different papers and boards to use with pastels, but so far the best is still the special paper I use normally, but will still keep trying. Must try a little more with the paints as well.
My friend Jill who comes for art was poorly this week so did not have someone to chat to whilst doing my picture.
Do catch up with me again
